But I hope you never really and truly want to cut out the need for hand
sketches. What if the power fails?
In second grade, while resisting learning to tell time on an analog clock,
I told my teacher that I would use a digital clock. She said “What if the
power goes out?” And I said I would use a clock with batteries. Which I
do. (Though I have learned to tell time.) You make a good point…it just
made me laugh because of the parallel. The unreliability of electric
service reminds us of our dependence on technology. IMHO.
