[YAK] BIG firestain problem?

Hi Folks,

I just heard on the news there was a truck stolen in California that
contained 44,000 pounds of boric acid. Someone must have a big
problem with firestain they need to overcome! That would make a heck
of a lot of alcohol dip! Keep your ears open for a tanker of
denatured alcohol disappearing!

Hey!! I didn’t steal the truck, but there was a time I could have
used it! Over the years and with the help of all of you at Orchid,
My firescale problems are down to a minimum.

If any of you /did/ steal the truck and are wondering about
alternative uses for boric acid powder, it does a great job of
killing roaches. Just leave a bit where the little beasts are likely
to scurry- it gets into their breathing apparatus, and cuts them up.
