Creative Metal Arts Guild (Portland, Oregon) presents the following
workshops for members and the general public:

Forging Fine Metals with John Paul

In this workshop, you will learn about forging fine metals on a
jewelry-size scale. Topics covered include, hot and cold forging and
ingot pouring. John Paul will talk about and demonstrate using
copper, sterling silver, fine silver, and argentium. To see John

Introduction to Pmc with Liz Page

Curious about Precious Metal Clay? Here’s your chance to learn the
basics. Liz will take you through all the steps you need to start
exploring the possibilities of PMC on your own. Students will take
home 3 finished pieces of jewelry. Liz will demonstrate several
techniques including bead making, hollow forms, carving, piercing and
more. Price includes materials.
