[Workshop] Wax Modeling - Hand & Machine Assisted

First 3 days - $400

1st 3 Days
Covers all types of modeling waxes, making & using simple handtools,
rotary handtools, and wax pens. Designing for the medium, how to
measure and layout, and allowing for shrinkage. You will make 3
finished models.

Last 2 days
Sprue placement and actual spruing, investment and casting (one of
each students models made during previous 3 days.)

See how to make economical lathe & milling tools for your shop using
a drill press, learn the skills for freehand wax turning, and make 2
more projects on mini-lathes and milling machines.

Projects, materials, and notes will be supplied. Sterling,
Argentium, and gold are available for casting or bring your own.

Instructed in both English and Spanish. This workshop does NOT cover
CNC modeling.
