Russian Filigree Workshop

In this three day workshop, participants will have the opportunity
to learn Russian or open back filigree through extensive
demonstrations and hands on exploration. Victoria teaches the method
of forming, framing, and placing individual wires to create works of
depth, pleasing complexity, and unique design. Projects will include
a pendant and two rings as well as the exploration of other three-
dimensional design possibilities. Most importantly participants will
learn the necessary tips and tricks to ensure success and fun
through this technique. Those familiar with the technique from
Victoria’s DVD, Metal Techniques of Bronze Age Masters: Russian
Filigree, will have the opportunity to work on more advanced
projects.*
