3 day Ring Engraving workshop scheduled for Oct. 13th to 15th.
This is a workshop for jewelers or engravers with a little
experience engraving. You must be experienced at sharpening gravers
and able to follow a “recipe” for the angles required to make these
gravers. (There is no time learn to sharpen from scratch in this
short workshop.)
We cover all tools used, design and layout, and the 5 basic cuts
used. Initials, monograms, Heraldic, signet, side walls, outside
shank, and for those who want it - inside ring engraving. (There are
a couple of extra tools required for inside ring engraving.)
It is aimed at bench jewelers or any other engraver who wants to
break into this field - specifically those who want to do platinum
