I am teaching a two day workshop on Marketing for Artists on Sept.
25 & 26.
This workshop is an expansion of my lectures at Rio Grande’s Catalog
in Motion, Massachusetts College of Art, the Bead Society and North
Bennett Street School. If your career is at that point where you are
ready to take the next step, this is a good workshop for you. I will
teach you all the secrets of good marketing and networking.

You’ve graduated from art school, a trade school, or you just
like to make art and are ready to promote yourself. Where do
you begin? This two day workshop will assist you in the basics
of marketing to an audience, understanding the marketplace, and
writing a resume and artist statement. We will assemble a
marketing portfolio and a press-kit. Marketing is not about
selling, but making the sale easier because customers recognize
your name. We will discuss building your marketing tool kit for
image branding, logos, booth design, photography and
promotional materials. Open to artists of all levels.
