This workshop takes beginner engravers through all the first steps
needed to understand hand engraving. We will also touch on the
history of this intricate art, explaining hand techniques of
yesterday and today.
Each student will have their own pneumatic system to use during
class, with the opportunity to purchase at a great price at the end.
Also, class size is limited to 10 students.
The course will teach the basics of tool making, graver sharpening,
layout, scroll design, theory of hand lettering, and of course, hand
engraving using modern pneumatic methods. More will be covered
according to student interests.
