Wolf Belt Sander Attachment Question

I suppose that’s true, Ron, but then again this makes it is very fast to change out when a new sheet or different grade of sandpaper is needed. Spraying would be simple enough, but peeling the paper off, scraping away all the adhesive to make sure the surface is flat again sure sounds like it would take a lot of time. So to the question of expense, what’s your time worth?

One of the nice things about this tool is that it frees both hands to hold the work I’m sanding. And since it doesn’t need to be plugged in, I can place it just about anywhere in my own small studio.

Hi berniejohnsonjunk,
I made a small disc sander out of a piece of urethane rubber (about 25mm diam) that I forced onto an old bur then finished it off with a file and sand paper. Then I mounted scotch brite to the front of it with bluetac, it worked a treat. I then discovered I needed some way to hold the flat pieces so made some adjustable pins on my bench peg to hold it while I finished the surface. I used this for about 20 yrs.
