White precious metals

Palladium white has a gray look. Made a ring, remade it thinking I
did something wrong.

Richard, I am curious as to the formula you used to make your
Palladium white gold. I made wedding rings for my son and his wife a
couple of years ago using 18K yellow gold and 20% palladium. While
the alloy does look more like stainless steel than silver, it has
not ended up looking like pewter. I ask as I am in the process of
making more wedding bands (daughter this time) using the same formula
and would like to pre-empt any potential problems.

I believe I used alloy from Stuller.
