Where to get custom wax done?

I had a request last week from a young groom for a wedding ring with
a duck, buck and a bass either engraved or carved into his ring.
Obviously a hunting enthusiast. But it is not something I am good at
and I would like to have some idea from the list as to where to get
this done. Either a custom wax or maybe even laser engraved. I don’t
think he is wanting detailed carving, just a good out line of the
critters.

Hoping for some idea’s, Janine

Janie,

Try Dan Grandi at sales@racecarjewelry.com

Hands down I would recommend Margie Mersky. You can see her work at
her site:

and some of the animal carvings she did for me at:

She has done a variety of animal carvings and other complex pieces
for me and is the best!

Wow. I’m sure his bride will love that band. I wonder if Bass Pro
has some thing? lol

I highly recommend Judith Frey at [judithfreydesigns at gmail dot

Art and other major jewelers (whose names cannot be mentioned).

Janine,

Jay Whaley has done a similar theme band which was a Safari scene.
it is exquisite. He is also an expert wax carver.

Try contacting him directly whaleystudios.com in the event he does
not read this thread on his own.
