Where can I find a halmark stamp company?

I have been searching the internet companys and I have been
"stumped" to find a maker of a hand or press halmark for myself. Any
Ideas?

You might try http://www.micromark.com and ask them if they have a
mkaer of such or if they know of a maker. They are a small tool
specalist. Also try Thomas Register. I know there are companies
making all sorts of custom stamps, I just cannot put my finger on
the right trade magazine at the moment. I will keep looking.

Microstamp in Pasadena, CA has been mentioned several times on this
list. I visited their shop and was impressed with the variety of
what they can do, literally anything you need. But I found their
prices for a simple text stamp were a little steep.

My choice was Harper Mfg Co. in Las Vegas, NV. They have stock
stamps and can do special orders of lettering and artwork. Best to
call them for a catalog 800 776-8407.

About two years ago I selected a four letter stamp about 1mm high
which used one of their standard fonts. Cost was around $45 and
delivery was about 10 days.

I haven’t noticed anyone mention Indian Jewelers Supply
(www.ijsinc.com), in NM. They also make stamps. Very reasonably
priced.
