Let me add to Linda’s comments about noxious substances and air
quality. I recall a statement made at an environmental issues
conference: “The largest hazardous waste dump on Earth is the
atmosphere.”
Every time comments are made about the need for good ventilation
(which is very necessary), I have to think about where those fumes,
etc. go. the atmosphere. Whatever we can do to reduce our ‘noxious
footprint’ can only be animprovement.
