Thanks for all of the suggestions for what to call mass produced
jewellery. The award for creativity goes to Karen Christiens who
suggested Massively Made by Modern Machinery…
but I think that I will use the simple “imported” as suggested by
Mark Keefer… This is a clear and simple term that suggests that I
did not make it and that it comes from somewhere else (in my case it
is most often USA, Italy or Thailand) and therefore will not be
