What is an anvil pillow?

If an anvil pillow is a sandbag, you could make yourself a cheapie
version by buying a large purse with a zipper top, at a second-hand
store and filling it yourself with fine sand. (Some years ago, there
was an Orchid discussion on making sandbags.)

You can also use hand weights filled with sand. Found at Goodwill,
etc.
