I am a metalsmith. I use mostly recycled metal, brass, silverplate
trays, and copper. I use silver once in a while, but I prefer the
look of recycled. I am mostly self taught, mostly because of lack of
time or money to take the classes that would help me. When I have
been able to take a class, I am amazed at how much I need to learn.
The upside is that my work does not copy someone else.

I have been doing kumihimo, viking knit and wire wrapping for some
time; I am now interested in learning metalsmithing.
Having been an Accountant for many years, I decided to finally
follow my passion for jewellery and started designing and making
jewellery for friends, relatives and local craft fairs.
I enjoyed this so much that I finally decided to go into business
with a friend and make this my full-time career. I love different
types of styles, designs, colours and also love the jewellery from
different cultures. These are all elements I will be bringing to my
designs.
I enjoy meeting new people, sharing interests and walking in the
North Downs.

I have just started making jewellery, so I need all the help I can
get. I’m a radiographer in a busy hospital, I escape to my bench(as
tiny as it is).
