I am 28, and after a frustrating four years of begging for both
training and employment, I am thrilled to have been offered both at
once! I’ve been working in the jewelry industry since I was 18,
discovered the joys of metalsmithing at 24, and have wanted to be a
bench jeweler since. Eventually I hope also to be a designer, though
hopefully that won’t necessitate my owning my own business, since
that is something I do NOT have any interest in! Too much paperwork!
