My sister and I enjoy jewelry making and sales. Patti is a lampwork
artist and she and I enjoy seed bead work. We both recently took a
class on pewter jewelry making and love it. We encorporate a lot of
our creations with magnetic beads and clasps as well. Hope to find a
lot more on this site.

Valerie Jo Weihman-Rock
Rock Creek Mill & Heritage Farm, LLC
Argyle, Wisconsin. USA

Hello. I live in Wisconsin on a rolling prairie farm. Raise American
Mulefoot pigs, the most rare, indigenous pig in the United States.
The pig has a syndactyl hoof - shich means a single pony-type hoof.
All other pigs including wild pigs have split hooves. They are black
and have long hair. Raised compassionately.

I have a strong background in metal casting, metallurgy, heat
treating metals, welding processes. Have taught welding (both
industrial and Artistic) for 31 years. Love metal! My forte’ is
ceramic shell lost wax silicon bronze castings - sculpture. I also
love painting and adding in nanoparticles of metals into a
transparent or translucent medium. WAnt to try encaustic - raise my
own honeybees.

Early retirement from teaching. To get on with my Art. Hope to set u
pmy foundry here and then have a few weeks or weekends for Artists
to do bronze casting. I have three tipis (20 foot dia), three
covered wagons, a cozy camper and a good tent. Plan to someday build
a little stone cabin and a few o thers…wood, thatch roof…

Not to do a Art Colony thing, but as a couple weeks a year informal
get together respite place.

It is good to dream. It is good to create. ~Valerie
