i’m an educator who loves working with metals for jewelry designs of
my own as well as reproductions of designs following available
directions. i really enjoy researching and learning methods that
are used to produce some woven designs. i’ve attempted weaving and
knitting wire and have produced some fairly nice pieces. i’d like to
get better and sell some pieces just for the fun and self
satisfaction of fullfilling a talent i"ve discovered. i would like
to find others who may recognize woven patterns and can share the
techniques or technique resources with me. looking forward to the
forum for that purpose!

Hi! I’m a 24-year-old software engineer who’s always been
interested in the arts and crafting. I took my first metalsmithing
class this summer and am now renting a studio bench and learning
from the studio jeweler. I love being able to make such beautiful,
substantial objects and am eager to learn more techniques

I’m a retired engineer from an aerospace company (28 yrs), and before
that I worked as a process metallurgist for a large precious metals
company (12 yrs). I now want to develop this new business with more
non-standard lapidary techniques and jewelry making processes.
