My jewelry is hand fabricated of 22K recycled gold. It is
embellished with the ancient technique of granulation.

Monica Ordas
Camarillo, CA. USA

I’m interested in learning more about jewelry making (goldsmithing
and stone setting), and I think that I can learn a lot from the
Orchid Network! The situation in San Francisco at the Phelan
Building was especially interesting to me as I have family in
Northern California, and had just read about the Revere Academy. I am
looking forward to learning a lot as a member of this network! Best
Regards – Monica Ordas

Hello! I am here to learn, to experiment, to explore, and to create!
Thank you for providing an outlet for and ideas. I look
forward to being a part of this connection. Right now I am mostly
making small pieces for family and friends, with some production
work mixed in. I love making unique works for incredible people.

Elle Schroeder
San Jose, CA. USA

A late bloomer. I’m a very happy artist who discovered her passion
possibly a bit later in life than most. I might be goin’ to hell in
a bucket, baby, but at least I’m enjoyin’ the ride.

Norman Torok
Roslindale, Massachusetts. USA

New to silversmithing, but ambitious to learn as much as possible.

Eric Eliason
Coventry, RI. USA

Started in the die cast business 1980’s, making dies for belt
buckles, shoe buckles and ornaments. Did a lot of engraving both
pantograph and hand- especially on the western buckles. Did a lot of
hobbing of the dies and cut some hubs for stamping houses in the
providence/attleborough area. The whole business went to China in
the early 90’s and I switched to making injection molds for
plastics. Took night classes in jewelry and silversmithing back in
the 80’s and found a lot of overlap with all the bench skills
learned as a diemaker. Now live with my wonderful wife and our 2 cats
and dog in Coventry, RI. right next door to my shop.
