I’ve owned and opperated my studio business for over 30 years. I’m a
graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art. I’ve been designing and
making one of a kind peices in plat. pall. high karat golds, and
sterling silver for over 32 years. Setting every kind of gem stone
you can name, and cutting sculptural gems myself,and recutting
diamonds through two firms I’ve worked with for 20 years. I’m a
gemologist GIA. My store was formerly a member of the American Gem
Society and hopfully will be again. I believe stongly in educating
my custmers in exactly what they’re purchasing quality wise and why.
I’m very picky about what I sell. I’ve had as many as 6 full time
employees but with the changing ecconomy we’re down to two. I’d
never layed a person off until a year ago,and then I lost my whole
team. Business is picking up,but I think it’s still going to be a
few years before it returns to anything resembling normal. Gold is
sky high and going higher I think it may reach $1500. God Bless our
trade and business then!!! I’m married for 31 years to Marcy a
wonderful woman artist. I have 2 children Grady and Raleigh both
