I began making jewelry a little late in life but have a fine arts
degree so it came naturally. Since taking my first class 7 years
ago, I’ve build a home studio and fabricate jewelry mostly in
sterling silver and high karat gold. I work with cabochons of all
shapes and sizes and have recently begun casting and using faceted
colored diamonds. I’ve sold a lot of my work and designed
commissioned pieces, mostly for friends who have already purchased
something from me. I took a a bit of break while I earned my GIA
Graduate Gemologist degree. Now, I work at Steffan’s Jewelers in
McHenry, Illinois doing appraisals,accounting and marketing (press
releases, website redesign, special events, Facebook). When I’m not
here, I am in my home studio. My passion is making jewelry and I’m
looking forward to getting some photographs taken so I can share my
work – and hopefully sell some it!
