I have always been involved in art in some form. As a kid, I always
enjoyed making jewelry from seed beads. I learned to knit, crochet,
weave, paint and sculpt but always came away wanting something more.
I walked into a local jewelry supply store one day and a woman was
wrapping wire on a dowel. I asked and she explained that she was
doing viking knit. I was hooked. I made several bracelets,
necklaces, earrings and even sold a few to my surprise. It was like
the “Ahhh” moment. I love the jewelry making process. I am a novice
and am in the process of learning all different techniques. Some
I’ve learned on my own, some I’ve learned through online websites
and I have taken classes from a few different people and have
enjoyed everyone of them.
