Been involved in the opal industry since my early childhood days
living only 4 hours away from the black opal fields of Lightning
Ridge. My farther who was a keen hobby miner got me started. It’s
been only the last 10 years that I have been directly involved in
opal as a living and now mining and marketing our opal directly from
our mines.
Prior to this my career was in marketing in the fashion industry but
have come back to the industry that I have always liked and now with
our latest mining success in discovering new opal fields in the
Grawin region of Lightning Ridge we are keen to bring you black opal
from our mines at miners prices. No huge margins from each of the
marketing levels. This comes straight from the miner via our website
