Hello! What a great site! I am a lifetime artist who always comes back
to jewelry design. I am currently back in school learning how to
work with metal and loving it! I reside in Los Angeles with my
beautiful family and I am looking to learn as much as possible about
jewelry design and production as possible. I am looking for a full
time position in the industry - if anyone needs help - please
contact me by email and I can send my credentials and portfolio. Have
a great New Year!

Anne Betenson
Silverpuss/Crystalriverbeads
Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taf. UK

Hi, my name is Anne. I am an artisan jewellery designer from South
Wales in the UK. I currently sell some of my designs on Etsy and I
am working on my second Etsy shop called crystalriverbeads. I also
have a shop on Folksy and sell offline as well. All my designs are
generally one off pieces. I am originally from the Inner Hebrides in
Scotland, from the Island of Islay which is very famous for its
whiskies. My background is diverse as I am inspired by the Viking
myths and Celtic legends from my childhood and from living over
twenty years in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park in S
Wales. I am interested in nature and history and I feel this is
reflected in my newr work. I am being featured on online fashion
blogs in the UK, and some of my jewellery is to be featured in a
design magazine this spring. I am currently designing my own
personal website which feature not only my work but will showcase new
artisans from the local area.

Connie Stevens

Hello,

I am Connie, I have made beaded jewelry since I was a child. I have
been making my own glass beads for 15 years and blowing glass on and
off for ten. I have always had an interest in metalsmithing.
Currently I have put together most of my casting equipment for lost
wax casting. I hope to someday incorporate my glass work with silver
and gold smithing to make my jewelry completely compased of
materials made by me. I have enjoyed reading all the informative
articles on this site for years. I am ready to join now!

Thank you all for sharing your knowledge!
