Rachel Taliaferro
Charlotte, NC. USA

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in SculptuRe: Jewelry and Metals
from Winthrop University in 2006, and have studied at Penland School
of Crafts. I have worked I have worked in different areas of the
jewelry industry: as a professional jeweler, contract jeweler, and
retail jewelry manager.

After all this experience, I have found most satisfaction producing
unique, bold mixed media art pieces. Rachel Taliaferro Art Jewelry
launches this year, an elegant avant-garde jewelry line with an
ethnic jewelry and architectural influence. I accept commissioned
works from numerous patrons featuring the individuality of the
wearer and mixed-media compilation. My work has been featured in
exhibitions throughout the Carolinas, but I also use non-traditional
partnerships with fashion designers and artists of other media at
local events to gain exposure.

Ross Berg
Brisbane, QLD. Australia

First became involved in Lapidary about 4 years ago, have since cut
many gemstones and now embracing the art of wire wrapping, what
started out as a hobby has now become part of my life. I hope as the
years go by that I further educate myself and become as skillful as
my mentors.
