Jeannette Froese LeBlanc
Metal Clay Artist Magazine
Merrickville, Canada

Jeannette is the creator, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Metal
Clay Artist Magazine. After two decades working as a studio potter
and doing the “show circuit”, jewellery slowly took over her studio
and she hasn’t looked back since finding metal clay. Along with her
studio work, Jeannette enjoyed teaching art and linguistics at both
at the middle school and college levels for 20 years. She now spends
her days with her two children and her nights working on the
magazine and sneaking in a bit of studio time here and there!
Jeannette always has been involved with artistic endeavors and is
the consummate teacher. The magazine is an extension of her classroom
and studio.

Metal Clay Artist Magazine is the first print magazine devoted
entirely to the metal clay arts. It is created by metal clay artists
for metal clay artists, and is designed to serve artists at all
levels of experience.

Metal Clay Artist Magazine’s mission is to share, exchange and
develop ideas, promote education, inspire creativity, and increase
appreciation for the work done by metal clay artists worldwide.

Barbara A Tschache
BnB Dynamix
Vernonia, OR. USA

I’m a bellydancer and teacher (Tribal fusion) and create jewelry and
costumes in a nomad/Byzantine/ancient style, mainly. I bead,
metalwork and enjoy polymer clay for it’s ability to mimic much
pricier materials.

My husband and I are in the process of learning to reclaim metals
from scrap electronics since we are both computer techies and get
lots of broken stuff.

We have 8 or so cats whom we adore, live in the country and life is
good… if only we weren’t so dang poor.
