Hello, My name is Heather and I am a self taught jewelry
designer/artist. I have been working primarily in wire and beads
until just recently. I have really been wanting to try to expand my
skills base to include some metalsmithing techniques. I have visited
the Orchid site many times and really appreciate all of the
wonderful and help that can be found here.

I have a shop on Etsy where I sell some of my jewelry. I also have
facebook and twitter accounts. Let me know if you would like to
share page info. thanks

Hello all! I am a practicing metalsmith since 2001, currently
residing in south FL. I attended Colorado State University, where I
studied Metaltsmithing and Jewelry and earned my Bachelors in Art in
2008.

After school, I worked at a custom jewelry store where I learned a
bit about CAD/CAM and the production end of jewelry making. Wedding
rings are incredible symbols, and the the emotion attached to it is
incredible as well. Invaluable experience, hard work.

I recently moved to South Florida where I now do office work to help
out with my family’s business. I hope to get a setup again and begin
making art and jewelry again. It is needed! Drop me a line if you
are in the area or know any places to connect out here!

Hi, I am a registered nurse in an ICU and a mother of five grown
children. I have been interested in jewelry making my entire life,
but only started taking various classes about 4 or 5 years ago. I
have a small “studio” in what is supposed to be my dining room! I
love metalworking and cannot learn enough. I am excited to be a part
of this group and look forward to learning as much as I possibly can.
