I’ve been a jeweler and watch tech for over 18 years now.

I am a woman who has been making jewelry occassionally, as a hobby,
off and on for years, but have not been very productive for the past
5 years, because of a new job. I have a lapidary, but little time to
use it as I still must work. I live in an art community, and several
people have suggested that I take my work more seriously. Local
galleries would like to sell my work.

I plan to become more diciplined with my free time and become more
productive. I have the urge to create jewelry once again, and hope
to have the latest chemicals, like Firescoff, to help in my work. I
plan to use this site as a resource.

Kim O’Brien
Kobrien jewelry
Tiverton, RI. USA

I received my BFA from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth
in 2003. I am currently preparing for the SoWA market and the
Providence Open Market for this Spring, Summer and Fall. Here I will
be selling small production pieces, each with hand fabricated
findings and unique designs. This is a new venue for me and I am
excited to see what it brings.
