Welcome to the list. I am sure you will find lots of
and many people who can answer your queries. My
daughter was a rotary exhange student living in Curitiba for a
year in 1988. She learned to speak fluent Portuguease, spent some
time travellling around and still keeps in touch with her host
families. She returned there in 1997 and spent two months with
them again. She loves Brazil and has wonderful memories of the
country and the very freindly people she has met.
