Regarding fine cut marks on shear cut metal edges…
I recall postings that noted the marks on the shears could be
removed to eliminate the resulting marks on the cut edges.
The question becomes, how does one remove those marks from the shear
blades and does that removal effect the sharpness/cutting capability
of the shears.
After say filing or grinding the marks away, is it necessary to
provide a new shearing edge?
