Hi Ben,
If someone is charging $15.00 per hour for an average build on a
Sanders MM2 at 25 hours, the wax price would compute out to $375 for a
wax model. Plus the JewelCAD Design time. This is not an accurate
price at all. I charge anywhere from $85 to $150 for a wax model
depending on the size. This is for someone E-mailing me a file. True,
there is an additional charge for the JewelCAD time if needed, but
most people are buying JewelCAD or similar programs to make there own
designs and then send these to a Service Bureau as myself. Please
get you pricing facts a little closer to reality as your estimates may
tend to scare peopl off from the trend of the future.
