G’day There is a nasty virus rife in new Zealand which is said to
have originated in Holland. My son, who works as an IT engineer for
Sun Corp. says he has seen at least 30 copies on computers at his
place. Luckily, the virus only attacks Microsoft operating systems and
Sun has it’s own, so isn’t affected. But beware; yours (like mine,)
is probably Microsoft oriented. The message looks like this:-
AnnaKournikova.jpg.vbs etc.
The attachment contains a picture of the star player - which you MUST
NOT SEE! It only works if you attempt to open the attachment which
contains the virus, which then promptly sends a copy of itself to
every entry in one’s address book, and plays hell with the hard discs.
SO DON’T OPEN THE AnnaKournikova ATTACHMENT!!! DELETE IT AS SOON AS
SEEN. then delete it from or empty your trash ‘box’ Cheers, –
