Here’s a tip for helping to keep the studio clean:
My basement studio occasionally needs a good cleaning up of the
metal dust (not gold or platinum) investment powder, enamel dust, dog
hair and miscellaneous tiny stuff. I don’t want to kick up all of
these potentially hazardous materials with the exhaust of the shop
vac or vacuum cleaner. I bought extra hose to extend the hose on the
shop vac and set it outside with the hose only coming indoors. As it
sucks up all “stuff” the studio remains undisturbed. My shop vac has
a hepa filter so I don’t have to worry about contaminating the
outside space.
