Since we’re discussing UV & infrared eye protection, what sort of
protection should we be using while we melt silver in an electromelt?
Dear hubby, whose self-assigned job is to handle the hot metal during
casting, regularly looks into the electromelt to check the progress
as the metal is nearing the melting point and of course he has to
look at it as he pours it into the flasks on the vacuum table. What
brand of protective glasses would be best for this? And since I do
the soldering, would the same brand be OK for both situations?
