Using Scales

Hello everybody,

As for scales, can I buy one scale to use both for weighing stones
and weighing wax? All the stores I worked in had two, one for each.
Can I get away with using one? Our little mom ‘n’ pop business is so
small we have to go by ma ‘n’ pa. We’re wedged onto the back porch,
which is JUST walled in, there’s something living in one wall, and
we share the space with a stackable washer/dryer that shakes the
whole house during the spin cycle. Someday we’ll look back and
reminisce, but in the meantime we need a dinky little functioning
scale for which we can in some drawer find a space.

Thank you,
susannah

Hi Susannah

For years I just used my small carat scale to weigh my waxes. I
simply divided the ct. weight by 5 to get gram weight and calculated
my metal requirement from there.
