Using a press with sheet metal

#1

I’m having a grand time with my fast connection at the beach -
a chance to do some browsing that usually takes forever on my slow
connection at home. I was just reading the article about using a
paper die http://www.gannoksin.com/borisat/nenam/paper-die.htm I am
a printmaker, and have several presses. Can I use one of my
printmaking presses to do this, or do I have to have a rolling mill?
Can I use other things to transfer texture/line/image into the metal
plate? This is really getting the creative juices going here!

Thanks!
Beth from SC

I would think an etching press might work fine. Start with the thin
embossing copper you can find at craft and some hardware stores.
