Hi All: Has anyone a suggestion on how to recycle used Diamond
Pacifis Genie wheels? It seams a shame to toss them out.
TIA

Don’t know about that specific manufacturer, but the companies
will accept them for replating or as exchange on new wheels.Do
you know what a drum costs on a Auto cutter? Can be $10-15,000
each. You can have them replated for $3,000.But even small wheels
can be replated/reused.Even Diamond blades dished can be returned
to the factories for straightening.Recycle! Sez Woody Woodchuck!

Ed, I normally cut them up and glue to wood dops, nails or small
flat sticks and use for hand work or as small polishing wheels in
carvings etc… Trust me I keep them and theie fragments around
for years…(smile )

Hi All: Has anyone a suggestion on how to recycle used Diamond Pacifis Genie wheels? It seams a shame to toss them out.
Greetings All-
You could have them re-coated- this is what I do with the diamond
laps that I sharpen gravers with. I give mine to a friend who is
a diamond polisher and he sends mine with his and this way I get
a better price. It is cheaper than buying new ones. Ricky Low

I thought Diamond Pacific Genie wheels were plated diamond
drums??? If they are carbide you can use them like you say,or the
220’s cut them up and use for saw shapening sticks. Mark Liccini
