In the following photographs, you will just how the "Injection-Wax" is 'holding' each stone. Not always will you see how a detailed cz is sitting. But to be aware of this, is worth 1,000 words. What I do, is to 'warm up' EACH stone as it is being held into place, the 'semi-liquid wax' is then displaced &
will navigate itself around the girdle of the stone. This 'displaced wax is basically what is holding each stone. The 'warmed' stone will find it's "point of least resistance" & settle into a space that is allocated for that specific stone. Remember to keep the stone slightly warm, not blazing hot!!! If it is HOT it will sink below the area required!
I suggest experimenting with different degrees of "Warm => Hot". I use "EXTRA HOT
" to clean off the wax-pen tip, wax-residue is not a happy friend to any stone as this will be metal afterwards!
