Doesn’t that ruin the pearl?
Are you trying to pull the clasp to or unscrew it?
What is the value of the pearl? Would it be cost effective to
replace it instead of removing it?

Well I never got the part out of the pearl. I had to drill it out in
the end. I will just replace the screw.
