Fishbre…The comment on the self heating was intended
only to indicate how much energy is being transferred from the
transducer. The temperature change due to this energy alone is
considerably more than just noticeable, however it is not a
aubstitute for a heater. The heat generated is undoubtedly
helpful but not a substitute. However I believe that the only
thing a heater accomplishes is to hasten the cleaning process,
not to improve on it. Whether or not you use a heater depends
strictly on your affluence and impatience. My current ultrasonic
is not heated, but I’m not in a production mode.
