Ultrasonic drills

Hi there!

I’m thinking of purchasing an ultrasonic drill to help me in my
carvings for drilling long (deep) holes. Does anyone know what the
learning curve is like, are they hard to learn how to use? Also any
suggestion as to suppliers etc would be appreciated.

I suspect you will have probably already met and know how to contact

Bill demonstrates, sells and advises on ultrasonic drills at Tucson
each year at the Alpha Supply booth in the Tucson Electric Park
show.

The ultrasonic drill I used years ago was ridiculously simple to
use. Rio Grande used to have a division that sold high end
ultrasonics - don’t know if they still do. Otherwise, look to
Imahashi…
