I make cuff bracelets 6 inches long, with a 1" gap. This fits most
women.

Beth, Check “How To Measure” on my site (which is new and is getting
better pictures shortly). www.rlangbert.com I hope this helps as I
had a lot of issues with cuff blank length. On wrist circumferences
less than 6-1/2" subtract 3/4" for opening and greater than 7" make
opening 1-1/4 to 1-1/2". Do not forget to make the blank longer
based on the width of the cuff and thickness of the metal as you
would do in fabricating a ring. This works when you can’t see the
persons wrist.
