Tucson with Quartzsite

Hi everybody, since we are talking a lot about the Tucson show, can
someone comment and/or compare Tucson with Quartzsite

thank you, Denise

Denise, I always do Quartzsite first, I find prices there especially
for rough, far more reasonable. Many large dealers set up in both
places. Costs are far lower in Quartzsite, so prices reflect that.

I also know dealers buy in Quartzsite, mark up and sell in Tucson.
On the other hand, many Tucson dealers have never been near
Quartzsite. It all depends on what you are looking for.

For me personally, both are wonderful and worth doing. Teresa

Unless you don’t have to go more than a couple miles out of your way,
or you are into dead cow heads and rusty junk, I’d skip Quartzsite.
It was a major disappointment this year. Clouds shut down so they
could start freeway work and most of the good dealers didn’t show. I
understand that Clouds is working on a hotel show in Luaflan
(spelling) NV. It might be worth seeing. I don’t know the dates
though. Tucson however is another story. Plan on at least four days
and make your reservations now if you are not to late already. Bring
along lots of money or lots of self control or at least a good
balance. I heard one guy this year saying to his wife the “he
thought that they could get a home equity loan in about a day and
they needed more money, the credit cards were all maxed”.
