Tucson - Feb 4 - 9, 2009 - GJX booth # 205
Just wanted to say I’ve never made it Tucson, but am fortunate to
have Robert come through my area yearly. I spend entirely too much
when he visits . Great stuff.
You can go to the “Gallery of Lapidary Artists” at the St. Augustine
room at the Inn Suites in Tucson…it has some of the finest stuff at
the best prices in Tucson. I am a part of the group and I specialise
in the spectacular Dendritic agates from India, these stones are the
finest of Nature’s artistry that you will see…you can have a small
and not entirely representative preview at our website
indus-valley.in to know more. Trust me, the room is worth a visit.
If you are heading for Tucson in early Feb., please drop by my booth
at the Doubletree Hotel on Alvernon (To Bead True Blue, and The
Tucson Bead Show). People on this list have been so helpful in the
past, and I’d love to say hello. I mostly lurk, but read the digests
daily. I’ll also be teaching several chain mail classes…
We are very happy to show you our new web-page with pictures of
Agates from Argentina, specially from Patagonia. You will also find
some pictures of our long trips, and many links of Worldwide Agate
collectors.
Looking forward to see you again during Tucson 2009, at the Inn
Suites Hotel, Room number 223 (Behind the grape-fruit tree!! All our
best from far away Argentina !
I am looking forward to seeing people at Rio Grande’s Catalog in
Motion. I’ll be there talking about, and demonstrating how to work
with, Argentium Silver. (That is, I’ll be demonstrating as well as I
can, using a creme-brulee torch— which is what the fire marshals
allow in the ballroom of a hotel). Please come by and say hello! If
you have questions of a scientific nature about how and why
Argentium Silver works, you may enjoy meeting and speaking to my
companion at the booth—Tony Staniorski, whose job at Stern Leach is
primarily involved with Argentium Silver.
I haven’t been to Tucson for a few years, and am looking forward to
seeing old friends, and making new friends. I always enjoy
connecting faces with names that are familiar from Orchid.
Art Clay World, USA will be exhibiting at the To Bead True Show at
the Doubletree Reid Park from Feb 1-6 in Tucson. If you haven’t seen
Art Clay Silver in action and want to see what it can do, please
visit us.
I’m interested in supporting other members on Orchid, so I was
wondering who from the list will be in Tucson, what they carry, where
and when they will be in Tucson. Any discounts for fellow members?
I’m also hoping to go to the organized Orchid dinner, so if you see
two people (tall Blond man and short dark haired woman wandering
around aimlessly, that will be me and my husband, so please introduce
yourself ) I will be at Best Bead Show, Kino Center, Booth 6 from Feb
4-8. I carry handcrafted fine silver focal centerpieces and
crystalline, satin matte, and metallic rainbow titanium for jewelers.
Discount coupon can be found here: http://www.hollygage.com/pages/hollygagecoupon.html
I hope everyone going has a good time. Let’s support each other in
this hairy economy!
