#1

Hi Gang;

Thought it would be nice to have a Trivia_Game section on Orchid and
have some fun while sharing “dry” technical Information.

The rules of the game are simple:

- Anyone can post.

- Post a theTrivia Question to the list.

- The question must be related to Gems or Jewelry subject .

- No self-promotion allowed .

- Answers should be send back to the list .

- The first One to get the answer right will win a
Complementary 1000 Impressions Banner Ad package on Ganoksin.com.

- In case no One got the right answer, the poster of the Trivia
question should give the right answer and will be considered the
	winner.

Sounds like Great fun isn’t it?

Dear Hanuman…

The World’s largest blue topaz is called the , “Siam Akara Manee”,
(giant gemstone of Siam), it weighed 30,000 carats in rough form when
it was discovered in Namibia. it has 950 facets. The largest number
of facets ever cut on a gemstone. The number of facets symbolises the
present king of Thailand, who is the 9th King of the Chakri Dynasty,
with 50, being the number of years that he has been on the throne.
The stone is owned by, and on display at Gemopolis. Thailand’s largest
gem and jewelry center. Gemopolis was established in 1990, and
features a blind stone cutter, although I don’t believe that he cut
the topaz

Give me another day or so, and I’ll have the rest of the info for
you.

spelled that wrong…sigh) Topanga, CA USA
