[Traveling exposition] Alexander Calder's Jewelry

While he is famous for his larger sculpture and his mobiles he also
made jewelry using his wire forming techniques. I heard a tale that -
When giving a one man show he would show up with only a coil of wire
and a pair of pliers – he would sell everything an always go home
with just the pliers.

The Book “Calder Jewelry” Is serving as a catalog for the
exposition- Amazon did list it for $40.95 but it is out of stock
today. It is well worth buying - It will be available again since the
current show is still in th e early stages.
