I am planning an 8 day trip to Arizona and, perhaps New Mexico,
in February. Does anyone have any suggestions as to special,
“off the beaten track” places to visit that relate to crafts?
Last time I was there, the highlight of my trip was a visit to
jeweler Charles Laloma’s studio. Any suggestions would be
apprecialted.
The largest rock show in the world takes place in Quartsite, AZ.
runs from Jan 15 to Feb. 15. You will realy enjoy it. Covers
aprox. 4 sections of land. The big show for gem and minerals
starts in Tucson the first Wed. of Feb. and runs 14 days. You
will need good walking boots but you will enjoy both shows.
