Torch help

Well I’m going to my local gas supply place tomorrow and getting a regular tank and regulator and sending back the little smith one.

You do not need a 0 - 100 psi oxygen regulator which is typical for a welding setup. A 0 - 25 psi regulator will do everything you need with a little better control at the low pressure you will be using (less than ~5psi.)

You will need a “B” type hose fitting on your new regulatior.

Also, you might take your propane tank/regulator and Little Torch and a #4 or #5 tip with you and make sure everything hooks up and works as you expect it to.

Well problem solved. Went and got a 80 liter tank and a regulator and everything works like it’s is supposed to. The hook ups on the little torch worked just fine with the regular and I have a good consistent flame.

I had the same problem at first. I think the knobs are stiff at first so it’s easy to over-dial them in either direction. Mine loosened up over time.
