I am doing Keum Boo, but am having trouble with ragged edges when I
punch out circles 1/4" and smaller from the gold. Is there someplace
I can get quality hand punches?

Try sandwiching the gold between sheets of paper and punching all the
layers together-- that may solve the problem, unless your punch is
really bad. If that doesn’t work, put it between two layers of very
thin copper or brass, like 26ga or even 30ga and try that.

Hi Anne,

Put the Gold between pieces of paper. Then punch it out.

Hi Anne, Try backing the gold with some card stock, it supports the
thin gold and makes a cleaner punch. Hope it helps! Linda Reboh
